Environmental information

Storage of unopened and broken packaging: Cool, frost-free and tightly closed. Protective equipment for: Spraying: Coverall, full face mask with combination filter. Brush / roll application: Safety glasses and gloves. Grinding: Respiratory protection. Environmental information: Remove as much paint as possible from tools before washing in water. Do not dispose of residual liquid paint in drains, hand it over to your local recycling center. Minimize your paint waste by calculating in advance how much will be used. Store excess paint properly so that residues can be used, which minimizes the environmental impact.

Product use

• Factory painted steel, plastisol-coated steel, iron, aluminum and galvanized steel.
• Outdoors on sheet metal facades & roofs on e.g. housing, industrial buildings, warehouses, etc.
• The documentation must be primed or previously treated.

Treatment

• Loose material and paint are removed by cleaning with a wire brush or by sanding or sandblasting.
• Clean with Flügger Metal Pro Cleaner followed by rinsing with plenty of water.
• Hard, smooth surfaces must be matt sanded.
• Primer as needed with Metal Pro Multiprimer.
• Areas with exposed iron surfaces are primed with Flügger Metal Pro Anti-corrosion Primer.
• Exposed zinc surfaces are primed with Flügger Multiprimer.
• Paint 2 coats of primer & 2 coats of sheet metal paint for best results.

Remark

• It is important to follow the treatment times to get the best effect.
• Be careful with cleaning and sanding.
• To obtain optimal rust protection, make sure that the interval in practice matches the recommended bearing thickness.
• Protect freshly painted surface from adverse weather conditions.
• Take appropriate measures against the influence of moisture and precipitation the first time after application of the paint.
• The surface achieves maximum robustness when it is fully hardened.
