Product properties
Quick-drying alkyd primer with effective protection against rust. Suitable for manual
cleaned surfaces, as it has good penetration into porous surfaces.
Application
Product use
Used indoors and outdoors on iron, steel and sheet metal. Galvanized, galvanized,
aluminum and factory lacquered sheet metal, Metal Pro Multiprimer and
finished painting with Metal Pro Sheet Metal Paint.
Treatment
The surface must be clean, dry and firm, free of dirt, grease and oil.
During maintenance, loose paint, roller skin and rust are removed to solid and
load-bearing surface, via scraping, machine sanding or steel brushing to ST2
according to ISO 8501. Flügger Metal Pro is applied to the cleaned areas
Anti-corrosion primer immediately after cleaning.
Clean with Flügger Metal Pro Cleaner. Remove growth with Fluren
Facade Anti-green. Use a high-pressure cleaner if necessary. It is important to rinse with
clean water after washing to remove detergent residues. Grind
glossy and painted surfaces.
Stir before use. Applied with a brush, roller or spray,
immediately after cleaning the surfaces, to avoid new rust attacks. Used
always brush to the first coat on manually cleaned surfaces. Finish
with waterborne or solvent-containing paint for optimal protection within 2
weeks. Apply 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of top coat for best results.
