Environmental information

Remove as much paint as possible from tools before washing in water. Do not pour residual liquid paint down the drain, dispose of it at the local recycling station. Minimize your paint waste by calculating in advance how much to use. Store excess paint correctly so that residues can be used, thus minimizing environmental impact.

Application

logo

Application

  • New untreated mineral facades, eg cement plaster, lime cement plaster, thinly plastered bricks and previously painted substrates.

Treatment

  • Precipitates, loose material and paint are removed by washing and cleaning.
  • Dirt, dirt, grease and contaminants are removed with Facade Clean.
  • Algae, mold and mildew growth are removed by cleaning with Facade Algae Remover.
  • Major cracks and damage must be filled with cementitious material.
  • New substrates and easily smearing or absorbent surfaces are primed with Flügger Facade Primer.
  • Optimal durability is achieved by two or more treatments.

NOTE

  • Protect the freshly painted surface from adverse weather conditions.
  • Take appropriate measures against the effects of moisture and precipitation in the first time after the paint is applied.
  • The surface achieves maximum robustness when fully cured.
  • Older houses, built in pure lime mortar, should only be whitewashed or treated with silicate paint.
