Application

• Used indoors: on iron, steel, aluminum, zinc and hot-dip galvanized
• iron, lead, copper and lacquered sheet metal.
• Used outdoors: on aluminum, zinc and galvanized iron, lead, copper and
• factory lacquered metal sheets.

Treatment

• The surface must be clean, dry and sustainable, free of dirt, grease and oil.
• Clean loose paint, embers and rust to a solid surface using
• scraper, machine grinding or steel brushing (ST 2 according to ISO 8501).
• Clean with Flügger Metal Pro Cleaner.
• Remove if necessary. fouling with Flügger Facade Anti-green.
• Use evt. high pressure cleaner. After using the cleaners, it is important
• to rinse with plenty of clean water.
• Sand shiny and painted surfaces matte.
• Iron outdoors is primed with Flügger Metal Pro Anti-corrosion Primer and
• surface treated with alkyd paint Flügger Metal Pro Metal enamel.
• Stir before use. Apply with brush or airless spray the same day as
• the cleansing is done. Finish with solvent-containing or
• aqueous paint after max. 2 weeks for optimal protection. Apply 2 coats of primer
• and 2 coats of topcoat for best results.
